Very good

Perfect stop off on camino. Lovely spacious rooms in quirky little family run hotel. Good value. Check in is in El Perdito Bar/Alberque just across from the church. Very warm welcome from staff.. We dined here later & it was lovely. Highly recommend

In the path

It is the third time I have passed through Hontanas doing the Camino. Always from Burgos to Hotanas at the same time to sleep here. This time two friends came with me. We slept in this rural hotel. Amazing, as always: Familiarity, attention, cleanliness, comfort of the facilities, taste in decoration. We were delighted. Highly recommended.

nicest place in Hontanas

I would guess this is the nicest place to stay in Hontanas.
It’s a small hotel with maybe 6 rooms. And it seemed quite new. Our room was well equipped and comfortable, with a nice bed and strong WiFi.
Though there’s a common room on the ground floor, we took our meals (dinner and breakfast) at the bar/albergue down the street at El Puntido.

Our Camino 2019

Could not say anything but great thing about this hotel. Small, quaint, historical, duper clean, modernized, even has USB plugs for each bed, fresh air, even in warm days and superb service. Great bed and towels!

Espectacular. Es como un hotel de 4 o 5 etrells

Este hotel rural en el camino de santiago es una pasada..... Las habitaciones, las camas el perfume la música los baños.... Increíble... Y solo pagué 38 €, aunque supongo que en temporada alta tiene que estar más caro porque es un hotel rural muy cuidado y lujoso..... La recepcionista es encantadora y está todo el tiempo pendiente de ti..... Es además la recepcionista del albergue que hay un poquito más arriba (se llama el puntido). Creo que va a ser el mejor hotel rural que me encuentre en todo el camino de Santiago, muy muy difícil de superar.... Cuelgo unas fotos para que se observe la realidad de lo que estoy diciendo
