Classic roadside hotel.

We used hotel mason de Sancho as a stopping point on a motorcycle tour. It was perfect for us. It had a lovely classic Spanish vibe to it. A nice big pool to lounge in with comfortable seating surrounded by big beautiful hydrangeas. From my room, I could see Morocco across the strait. Breakfast the next morning was amazing, fresh fruits, and juices, pastries, breads, and a full menu. We stayed for just one day, but you could eat something different for multiple days if you stayed there. The staff was very welcoming and there was even a garage we could put our motorcycles in at night. I would highly recommend this hotel. It’s just outside of Tarifa. So if you’re traveling through the area, it’s a great place to stay for the night or more.

A Relaxing Stay with Great Food and Easy Parking

We stayed at Hotel Mesón de Sancho for one night while driving through southern Spain, and it turned out to be a great stop. The atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were genuinely welcoming, and check-in was quick and easy. Our room was comfortable, and we even had a nice view towards the Bay of Tarifa.
The restaurant was one of the highlights. We enjoyed fresh seafood and traditional Andalusian dishes, and everything was well prepared without feeling overly fancy. Free parking made the stay even more convenient, and the pool looked like a lovely place to unwind. If you plan to eat at the restaurant, I'd recommend making a reservation, as it gets busy around lunchtime.

very very very delicious

We ordered the tuna tartare, the cod au gratin, and the scrambled eggs with potatoes and peppers. For dessert, the chocolate and pistachio soufflé. Everything was a delight, highly recommended. We also stayed at the hotel and it is great, since they accept dogs.

Right hotel and restaurant

Unique hotel, rooms with views of Tarifa Bay
It has a good restaurant
We had a starter of fish and prawn pie with pink sauce (very rich), lane clams with garlic and a fisherman's stew and a urta a la roteña
Dessert a nougat flan
Several nights we had dinner, a sherry consome, Andalusian squid and a vegetable salad
And other healthy options
Highly recommended

Beautiful and super relaxing place!! Very kind staff, highly recommended!!
Unfortunately we only stayed one night.
