Excellent location for the Vitosha mountains

The hotel is family run. It's very clean and maintained to an excellent standard. The owner and family make you feel at home and provide an excellent basic service. I had a room with a balcony which provided a good view of Sofia.
The hotel is situated in a quiet village at the foot of the Vitosha mountains and within easy access to the cable cars which can take you to the top for about 7 Lev. A number 64 bus from the main road takes you 25 minutes to get into Sofia itself which is worth a visit just to take in the history and different cultures.
I found the prices of food and drink to be really reasonable and great hospitality where ever I went. Most the waiters or staff in the restaurants and bars speak English or at least try to. I only wish my Bulgarian was as good.
If you stay at this location make use of the local bars and restaurants as you can get some amazing deals. Just down the road from the hotel is a cafe where the locals go for lunch and the food was excellent and really well priced.
For a long weekend break this was a great choice and I intend to go back.

Rude

Rude on the phone not professional at all!
I state that I did not stay (luckily) I called twice for the availability of a room for about ten days! When I asked if it was possible to stay with my 1.5kg dog they didn't even let me finish that in a rude way they told me to fuck off! I understand that everyone can decide his own policy but there are ways and means! Of course now here my money forget it

Very quiet and nice

Like family house fitted to guest rooms - big enough for couples ..clean and comfortable.
Need to pay attention that rooms - at least we stay - without air conditions and in hot summer climate this can be a problem

First Visit to Sofia Bulgaria

A family run hotel. I went therefor the weekend and i found the family very friendly and nothing was a bother. They went way beyond what i would have expected of a small hotel. They treat you so special and not like the big hotels where you are just a customer. I would recommend that you try this hotel because of the cleanliness and also the ease of moving around Sofia if you did not want to stay in the center among those tall buildings then this is the place. The lady lady makes you feel so special and the holiday to Sofia worth it all after this experience.
