Our room at 47 Steps was immaculate. Just across from Termini Station, the location was perfect so we could catch an early train to the airport the next morning. It was also remarkably quiet and the a/c worked great! Just a heads up, that you do have to climb up 47 Steps (hence the name) to get to the door (which was remotely unlocked for us when we called the phone number at the front door at street level - easy peasey). If you have difficulty climbing steps or have lots of luggage, this might not be a good fit. The doors to the floor and our specific room were remotely unlocked, so we didn't deal with a human, except for on the phone to get info on how to proceed to our room. We didn't care about that, but if you do, now you know.

Super convenient, clean, quiet and very comfortable

Almost directly opposite the Via Masala exit of Termini station. The accommodation was clean, quiet and exceedingly comfortable, although the a/c was a bit noisy. Complimentary water and snacks in the fridge. An iron and ironing board (including de-ionised water!), two umbrellas, thick towels and plenty of toiletries and accessories. We only stayed for one night as we were en route to the airport the following morning. Yes, areas around stations are generally a bit seedy and rough, but this accommodation was literally across the road. There were several good, local restaurants within 3-5 minute walk. We ate at the very popular (with locals), La Famiglia dal 1968. We would definitely stay at this accommodation again.

It was very central and easy to get around. Five minutes walk from train station and we felt very save and secure. I would come back again.

47 Steps Hotel

The Hotel staff and management very very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage before check in. We were travelling as a family of 4 so booked a big room with a Queen and 2 twins which was perfect. The space was very clean and the beds were the most comfortable out of 4 hotels we had stayed at on our trip. There was nice touches with snacks left free to eat, plenty of towels and facilities were top notch. The hotel building was only 200m from the main Rome Termini rail station and there was plenty of places to shop/eat and options to travel around Rome. The only downside is that there is no elevator in the building and the hotel is 47 steps up to its entrance which they tell you when you are booking so it might not be practical for those people with large or lots of luggage. Outside of that we had a great stay and would book there again.

47 Steps was wonderful. The reception woman was extremely helpful. Very short walk from Rome Termini. A word of caution as the name implies there are 47 steps to enter. People with mobility issues probably should find lodging elsewhere.
