Top notch experience

My new go-to Rome hotel. Comfortable, clean, ideal location, great breakfast and the best service. With two rooms for my friend group, we stayed in both the annex across the street and main hotel with equally good experiences. You’re right next to the bakery and can skip the line by buying when they open (and fyi the hotel gets a bread and croissant delivery for the breakfast service)
Most of all, it’s the service that sets the apart. Leonardo (and the overall team) was such a help when our return flight was canceled and we needed to come back for one more night. He managed to get us the same rooms and arrange a taxi for the next day and set a dinner reservation, he made it seamless in what was a stressful moment after the airport. Also (at least for the annex) our room was quiet when the window was closed, even when it’s a crowd on the street.
Worth the price many times over for the service location and experience.

Great hotel!

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Smeraldo and would absolutely stay here again. It honestly felt nicer than a 3-star hotel.
The location was great and made it easy to get around Rome. The front desk staff were consistently kind and helpful throughout our stay, and the breakfast each morning was really good with plenty of options.
The room was comfortable, clean, and the air conditioning worked very well, which was especially appreciated during the warmer weather.
Overall, we had a great experience and felt like Hotel Smeraldo was a really good value for the location and quality. We would definitely recommend it and would stay here again on a future trip to Rome.

Great property, a little gem in the center near the Campo dei Fiore. Excellent location close to all the monuments. The staff was amazing, super friendly. Especially Leonardo, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The air conditioner worked great, especially on the really hot days of August. Great breakfast included with a wonderful staff. Rooms are a little on the smaller size, but it was not really an issue, and I will definitely stay there again.

Hotel Smeraldo

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our trip to Rome. The AC was cool, the staff was excellent, the breakfast was great, and the location couldn’t be beat. I would 1000% stay here again. It’s everything you need!
