Dieses elegante Stadthotel im stilvollen Stadtviertel Austrias liegt in der Nähe der Oper und des Königspalastes im Zentrum von Madrid. Das Hotel bietet Ihnen eine ideale Ausgangsbasis für die Erkundung der beeindruckenden, spanischen Hauptstadt.

A hotel worth singing about
Awesome location for me. Quiet area next to the Opera house. Easy walking distance to all of my tours I booked.
Staff is wonderful and so easy to talk to in English at the front desk, especially Yanira. She helped me book the opera dinner which is a definite DO NOT MISS! Breakfast options either the €15 buffet or the Opera cafe downstairs which is ala carte. Try the cafe bombon!! Not on the menu but they can make it. There are also some salon areas to sit quietly in if you need a break.
My room was very quiet, great amenities.... Roomy closet with a safe. Luggage racks. Black out shutters outside on the windows- buttons by the bedside FYI. GREAT water pressure in the shower (no tub). Hair dryer works well (please leave yours at home) and the bed was very comfortable with crisp white linens. Air-conditioning worked really well during the heat wave and was quiet.
The only negative is other guests who plug in something that trips the circuit breaker and the power goes out. A very bright security light will come on in the room. Remember to ask for the number to the front desk because I don't know if they are aware when the power goes out. Two out of my three nights we lost power for 3 hours.

Oh How I Disliked this Hotel.
I check in at the hotel and they put me in a pokey little room with barely enough space to fit the bed. The view was of the rubbish bins outside. Then there was the breakfast … possibly the worst I have seen for a long time; no wholemeal bread, no greek yoghurt. The breakfast room is hidden away and service doesn't start until 7:30 am …why SO late?
Then there's the restaurant … or is there? It is not made clear whether the restaurant is part of the hotel and available to guests or a separate establishment. To be honest, it looks much more like a separate cafe.
Considering this is supposed to be a classy hotel, I would not value it very highly.

Lovely city centre hotel
Lovely hotel, just across from the road from the opera house and metro station.
Room was clean and fresh very spacious for a city centre hotel. A/C worked fine.

Desk staff extremely helpful after a problematic reservation.
There was an issue with our reservation from a third party booking platform, but we were even offered a discount as well! Saved our trip which could have gone sideways at the very beginning. Our room was very nice and the location is excellent. Air conditioning work just fine as well which is important in the summer in Spain.

Lovely hotel in a great location near
Lovely hotel in a great location near shops, bars and the Royal Palace.
We wouldn’t expect cleaners to return to our room after a late start but they did and it was very much appreciated.
There is a lovely looking restaurant on the ground floor which we don’t use personally but seemed popular.
The room was spacious, beds comfortable and the air con very welcome during the recent heatwave
Reception staff were welcoming and friendly
In short nothing other than a great stay in a hotel that let our needs.
