Great Stay
The hotel was lovely, clean and modern!
For the price it well exceeded out expectations, the gym and pool etc were great, staff very friendly and great amenities on site. Room was small and next to a big building site which was very disturbing in the morning, however overall room was good and well equipped.

Overall lovely hotel, but lacking in the finer details and cleanliness is questionable
A overall very good hotel in a great location however it’s cleanliness of the room leaves a lot to be desired I’d say the bathroom drain was never cleaned properly and the rest of room a quick wipe over . Bedside lamps broke

Very disappointed!
Unfortunately, what should have been a really enjoyable stay at The Dean was badly affected by construction work taking place in the office building directly opposite.
The work continued until approximately 11:55pm and started again at 6:39am, leaving us with around five hours’ sleep.
What disappointed me most was that the hotel was clearly aware of the building works, yet guests were still being allocated rooms on the side of the hotel directly facing the construction. Surely, where possible, guests should be placed away from the affected rooms, particularly when work is taking place so early and so late.
I appreciate that The Dean doesn’t control the construction work itself, but they do have a responsibility to consider the welfare and comfort of their guests and minimise the impact where they can.
We were offered €20 off one breakfast as compensation, which unfortunately didn’t feel proportionate to the disruption.
It’s a real shame because the hotel itself is lovely and we otherwise enjoyed our stay in Dublin. Better communication, room allocation and consideration for guests affected by the works would have made a big difference.

The perfect couples hotel
My husband and I stayed at The Dean as we had tickets to see Lilly Allen at the 3 Arena. The location was ideal, only a 5 minute walk to the arena. And near a bus stop to get into town if you don’t fancy a stroll along the river.
We loved our stay! The hotel itself is very cool, the decor is warm but stylish. It’s attached to its own great pub as well as a lovely restaurant so you have everything you need. The staff were great so warm and friendly. The rooms, although not huge were stylish and had everything you would need for a night away, including cool speaker and gorgeous blue tiled bathroom. Particular Marayna on reception! The pool and gym facilities were also awesome, a fully kitted out cool gym with sauna steam room and stylish pool!
Perfect for a trendy couples weekend, or friends get away. The clientele were cool, media type people!
We will be back! Thanks for a great trip The Dean.

Would stay agin but had some disappointments
Check in and check out all smooth. The 100 deposit was bit off a shock. First time its happened in Dublin, so probably becoming more common.
Rooms are small but basically all you need for overnight for a concert.
Only 2 big disappointments was the bar closing at 11.30 on a Saturday night and rudely told to leave while sipping over the last of our drinks then to be rudely awaken at 5.30am by someone who was able to gain access to corridor without a key and wrap on people's doors looking for someone.
Besides that clean and functional, would stay again when prices are lower. Had to pay heavy rate due to concerts, Gaa and dance competition so to be expected
