Wonderful - a perfect place to stay in Graz - relax and enjoy life.
From time to time a come back to Graz and Hotel Daniel was and still is a wonderful place to stay for a night or more - the welcome was warm and friendly.
The new attraction, an Italian Osteria, jukebox music and a nice bar to have drinks with friends or enjoying talks with the staff - take your time ...

Nothing particularly negative, but I wouldn't go back.

The room, despite the
cleaning, had a sink in the bathroom (which we had seen at the
Time of booking) but shower and toilet with a single sliding door without a ventilation system, honestly even if it is a design feature, it is not very functional. Good breakfast. Paid parking and also a €18 fee for the dog. Distance
From the center, not excessive but not too close either
Close. Not very welcoming atmosphere. Nothing particularly negative, but I would not return.

La ringraziamo per aver condiviso le Sue impressioni. Ci dispiace leggere che l’impostazione del bagno e l’atmosfera generale non abbiano incontrato le Sue preferenze. Il nostro concetto di camera prevede un design moderno a pianta aperta con elementi scorrevoli, pensato per un’estetica essenziale; comprendiamo però che questa soluzione possa non risultare ideale per tutti. Proprio per questo abbiamo aggiunto tende a rullo e pannelli coprenti sui vetri per offrire maggiore riservatezza agli ospiti. Siamo lieti, invece, che la colazione Le sia piaciuta.
Riguardo alla posizione, ci troviamo vicino alla stazione ferroviaria, scelta che facilita gli spostamenti e assicura un contesto più tranquillo; al tempo stesso riconosciamo che, per chi desidera raggiungere spesso il centro, la distanza possa non essere la più comoda. Per quanto concerne il parcheggio e il supplemento per gli animali domestici, comprendiamo che possano incidere sulla valutazione complessiva dell’esperienza.
Apprezziamo il tempo che ci ha dedicato e il Suo riscontro, che per noi è prezioso per misurarci con le aspettative dei nostri ospiti. Speriamo che in futuro ci dia l’opportunità di accoglierLa nuovamente e di offrirLe un soggiorno più vicino ai Suoi gusti.

Good bed with excellent down duvets

Hotel Daniel built in 1886 next to Graz Hbf, was destroyed in WW2 and rebuilt in a architecture style of the early 19-fifties. The hotel offers 108 rooms. The loggia rooms have a balcony. Furnishings and decoration provide a design-focused atmosphere. Service is friendly. Our room had balcony with table & beach-chairs, small side bench, TV & WiFi, a good queen-size bed with excellent down duvets, fridge & Nespresso machine, open wardrobe, washbasin in the room, toilet & shower share the same a sliding door. All was clean. A good buffet breakfast is served: eggs, cold cuts & cheeses, breads & toast, cereals & fruits, milk & yoghurts, juices & preserves, rolls & croissants, tea & coffee. Hotel Daniel is a pleasant city-accommodation, and we had an enjoyable stay. Recommended.

On a 30 degree day, the cooling system in my room was not adequate. Apart from this, it was a nice room and breakfast.

Everything is new and fresh in this hotel. Great lighting in the room, good water pressure in the shower, ample breakfast selections, comfortable bed. Highly recommend this hotel, especially for its 2 minute walk to the train station.
